🎥 Video collections 2006 till today

•

The main criteria behind our video collections are knowledge and alternative-peace-related perspectives as well as public educational value. We also emphasize what has a lasting quality.

Thus, you’ll not find news or events or polarising ‘debates’ here - more the kind of summarising, overall macro perspectives that you hardly ever see in your media. We choose people who know what they are talking about and who dialogue to promote education and food for thought - rather than winning a shouting match.

Because of our own experience, we also guarantee that there is no fake stuff, omission or propaganda here but lots of solid scholarship by experienced experts, academic and otherwise.

TFF started out very modestly, with a few self-created videos in 2007, but we did not pursue this medium systematically. Here is TFF’s first YouTube Channel featuring many TFF Associates and peace education themes (about 200 videos). TFF was also on Vimeo, and we set up a new YouTube Channel in 2023, migrating those from Vimeo to YouTube. See TFF’s second YouTube Channel with a wealth of themes, playlists and TFF Associates.

Sadly, in autumn 2024, Google-owned YouTube decided - without a single reason - to block Jan Oberg as editor from these two and from his art photography channel. He cannot log in, post or edit he cannot like other videos or comment on them. Strangely, the two channels are still accessible - perhaps because Google wants to avoid being accused of direct censorship. So you can enjoy everything on them. But both channels are now simply archives. (Vimeo shortly after closed down TFF’s channel with a fake reference to regional regulations, presumably EU).

This mind-boggling censorship story is described here.

And this explains why we have moved everything over here to Substack. It also explains why, in April 2026, we established TFF on Rumble, and there we post interviews, panel discussions and comments we have made on media worldwide that are also censored by YouTube, such as RT, PressTV and some Chinese media. There we also publish the series of short videos, TFF Peace Pulse, that we launched as a new TFF activity in April 2026.

Enjoy it all - and share if you like and benefit.
