🎥 Fall of the West and the possible future worlds

•

In this section, you’ll find informed dialogues about the possible futures of the world, and what changes it will likely go through to become a better place for all humanity.

There is enough doom and gloom, so below we try to identify positive, constructive perspectives, visions and everything that offers hope.

It can also be summarised by paraphrasing George Bernard Shaw, who seems to have stated something to the effect that most people look at the world as it is and ask: Why? What we should do is to look at the world as it could be and ask: Why not?

At TFF, we firmly believe in future thinking - thus the foundation’s name - and in working for and not just against something. But admittedly, this is more difficult, among other things, because there is always someone shouting in the audience: Oh, but you are unrealistic!

Exactly!

Most big changes in human history were considered unrealistic, naive or worse before they became a reality. Remember, the present world is never the best possible. If you use your imagination and want to make it a better place…

So a lot to appear here in the future… hopefully!

July 18, 2025 - about Germany’s unwillingness to recognise what it did in Namibia about 120 years ago. Will they ever learn?
