🎥 Jan Oberg
TFF director Jan Oberg, has given lectures and participated in numerous interviews on various media around the world. However, those made over time with, say, Russia Today (now RT), Iran’s PressTV and others have been deleted (so far with a few exceptions thanks to reproduction by others, see below) by Google-owned YouTube because Google participates in the foolish Western policy of cancelling access to certain Russian, Iranian and other media and censoring certain types of analyses and views.
These interviews made over at least a decade are, for all practical purposes, lost. A few have so far survived on TFF Vimeo; you’ll find them below, too.
The TFF Channel’s Jan Oberg playlist contains 136 video interviews up to September 2024, when YouTube cancelled Oberg's account, thereby automatically turning that channel into an archive. See this censorship story here.
The number of views - very high on some videos - pertains only to YouTube. Many of the Chinese-produced videos have wider circulation on Chinese media sites and, for instance, video platforms like BiliBili, which is the Chinese counterpart to YouTube - and WeChat.
Please find a selection below and browse the playlist for more.
Videos published after September 2024 are posted only here on Substack since we can no longer access TFF’s YouTube Channel.
So, more to come!
