This is brilliant. I particularly like the author's intentional and objective focus on a mostly Russian perspective without any attempt to demean or antagonise other perspectives.

Interesting to read this particular ''essay''... on how WW2 changed the world order ...in that the actual decoloniazation of the world was the result... The socalled Empires lost theri colonies... though the colonizers left them with lots of ties that prevented they cut loose completely... however now even those ties are broken... and a whole continent namely Africa that is emerging

with more and more countries more and more boldly takes their destiny in their own hands...

The interesting part here for me is that I posted a video on my youtube channel on exactly that the 9th of May.... I suddenly realized ''why France or rather Maron is so mad at Russia... and wants to ''crush'' Russia - though they have nothing to crush it with !!! (chuckle chuckle)... well Burkina

Faso is a good example... they cut the tiees... in more than one way... to France... and threw them out literally... and Russia is now helping them in many ways... one of them actualy with security forces... etc etc etc... WW2 weakend the colonial powers in Europe all of them lost their colonies in Africa... GOOD JOB RUSSIA !!!! ... ya ya ya the famous unforseen consequences.... !!!!
