What have puzzled me more than anything is the fact that many of the "anti conspiracytheory" people are more conspiratorial than I, but deny what they see and make it an argument in itself. Let me explain. When pointing to all the facts that indicate / prove that explosives contributed to the collapse, the debunkers refuse the facts iwth the argument: "It leads to conspiracy theory". I thougt that explosives could only lead to one more group of terrorists- just another group of Bin Ladens??
But the deniers can apparently not see another group of Bin Ladens but someone closer to home and dont what to know who they are. What is more puzzling is that even the critics like AE911truth.org seems to ignore the most interesting confession by NIST: There never was a search for explosives. This is clear from their report on the collapse of WTC1,2 and 7. It has no chapter on the subject and in their FAQ 19 they state clearly that there was no search for explosives. This is equal to high treason when the government is sworn to search for such enemies.
What is more, NIST tries to bolster/excuse the "no Search status" with a blatant selfcontradicting argument: "It would require so many tons of explosives, that it would be impossible to smuggle into the well guarded building". When the main conclusion/postulation by NIST is that fire alone could bring the buildings down at freefall speed, then any amount of explosives could also be a criminal contributing factor, fatal or excessive. There is no excuse for NOT LOOKING. NIST even documents in their executive summary that 99,5% of the steel from the buildings was destroyed before NIST (14 month too late) was asked to investigate the cause of collapse. Destroying the steel is equal to destruction of evidence. The same sort of treason as not looking- except worse. I remember Mayor Giuliani promising that all the steel would be collected and investigated.
So everybody ignores the simple logical fact that even though fire may have done it alone (although that is a "Flat Eath" category silly belief), there are still reports of numerous explosions and other indications that explosives did contribute. None of these irrefutable facts, that should lead to immidiate incarceration of all the responsible heads of government, has been discussed anywhere. To me that represents the total intellectual and moral collapse of the western civilisation and that is somehow more disturbing to me than the crime itself.
