Thanks for sharing! Very inspirational!

There is a slim chance - and a glimmer of hope, I would add -that we humans could change from "when will we ever learn to "we will forever learn":

To turn things in favour of Peace training before weaponised ‘security", and rather build on alternative strategies like civil defence, vulnerability reduction, and resilience-building, and prioritize education and training in conflict resolution, from kindergartens to universities, and teach - and practice - mediation, reconciliation, and forgiveness—displaying and practicing what you call “conflict and peace literacy".

There is a long way to go. Conferences and dialogues like the ones you describe can lead in the right direction - sharing peaceful ideas and spreading hope and fighting spirit.

Happy to read this good report while checking in at Nanjing Lukou T2. Endorsed, hoping you mean the Chinese understanding and perception when mention democracy linked to robots and new technology: "democratic decisions about their implementation,".
