I have the greatest respect for the depth of knowledge, long-term experience and calm, rational analyses that characterise David Hearst’s take on these extremely complex matters. And I share his predictions and concerns that this is terribly dangerous. Remember, the Israel-Iran war has tremendous potential for spreading both horizontally and vertically. And again, the West stands as silent, passive audience to the crimes of Israel that they have themselves enabled very energetically for decades.
I recommend that you follow The Middle East Eye of which he is the editor-in-chief. The Western mainstream media are not worth the paper/bandwidth they appear on.
