This time, I want to highlight the rapidly growing risk of major war in Europe created by NATO’s President Biden, S-G Stoltenberg, President Macron and Chancellor Scholz. I am more afraid of their conflict and peace illiteracy than about the weapons as such.
The more emphasis on weapons, the less emphasis on knowledge, caution and ethics.
Some of the articles below tell you why you, too, should be deeply concerned at the idea that NATO weapons can be used on Russia’s territory - again, an example of incrementalism: What was unthinkable a short while ago is now OK. Do not believe in the Kharkiv limitation; it will be dropped, too.
NATO has long ago become desperate and offensive, the latter starting with the bombing of Yugoslavia. To survive, it now needs to cover up its promise-breaking, provocative and peace-preventing decision to expand, especially into Ukraine over the last 30 years, and systematically cheat Russia while it was weak.
This was a blunder of such proportions that it is eminently reasonable to demand the abolishment of the alliance.
This NATO Desperado will do anything to weaken Russia, make Ukraine bleed for a victory it cannot achieve and - as cynically as cowardly - do so without sacrificing NATO soldiers. Be happy that President Putin is an experienced politician with measured words and actions. And reflect for a moment on how you’d feel if he stated: “Russian weapons can now be used from Russia and Ukraine to hit NATO countries.”
These perspectives on NATO are now world majority views.
But if you follow only Western mainstream media, you may find them provocative or wrong. However, these media mostly twist and tear reality or keep you in the dark by deliberately not telling you certain things.
These ‘free’ media are either corporate or public (dis)service state media - as free as the Soviet Pravda daily once was - and they only provide a single state-serving narrative, not journalism and not public education.
And so weak is the West that it also tries to prevent you from knowing how the Russians think and how they look upon us, our expansionist policies and the world. Let fall what cannot - deserves not - stand.
